One of her favorite ways to spruce up a rental apartment? You guessed it—Quadrostyle stickers. In fact, you’ve probably seen some of her past makeovers on our site. Not long ago, she used our Riad in Black floor panels to upgrade her mosaic tile bathroom floor. She’s also the mastermind behind the oh-so-photogenic Shaman kitchen makeover we featured back in September. That makeover was even recently featured in Domino Magazine!

Now she’s back at it and this time, she’s tackling stairs.
The challenge of this mini makeover is that since her client is a renter, she couldn’t make any serious changes to the space. So, even though she wanted to paint the stair black to better hide the texture and imperfections, she couldn’t. Instead, she turned to Quadrostyle to find a stair riser decal that would elevate the brown color of the stairs.
Before & after
You can see here that she went with our Claude stair riser stickers in Sienna—a choice that not only complements the stair color, but also the white vertical paneled walls. In this video, Alexandra explains how she uses the center-out technique to apply her stickers and shares other tips for installation.
The result is stunning, as always. What a treat to get to enter your home and have this gorgeous staircase be the first thing you see!

In this makeover, Alexandra used our Claude stair risers in Sienna, a reddish-tan hue with an off-white floral motif. Claude is also available in tile stickers, wallpaper, and floor stickers and comes in navy blue and brick red as well.
