Alpine Home Gets the Hamra Treatment in the Bathroom and Kitchen

In Coralie’s Swiss mountain home, everything feels a bit more personal. That’s because, as an avid DIY-er and decor aficionado, her home is full of handmade and hand-picked objects that radiate a sincere sense of welcome and comfort. And comfortable her home definitely is!

Nestled in the Swiss canton of Valais (home to the Matterhorn!), Coralie’s home is an encyclopedia of texture in a binary world of color. Her go-to aesthetic works very sparingly with colors that aren’t shades of black or white—a color scheme that renders magnificently against the alpine landscape.

As a lifestyle influencer on Instagram, @art_cora_ shares updates to her constantly changing home. One recent update was her bathroom makeover, in which she covered her floor tiles with Quadrostyle Hamra tile stickers. The cream background of the stickers with their charcoal black motif stands nicely complements the bathroom’s pristine white appliances!

But that’s not all...with leftover stickers from her order, Coralie was also able to create a temporary design solution for her kitchen while she waited for her permanent renovation materials to arrive. The result is a super cute kitchen with a Hamra backsplash and island kickboard.

Hamra is one of our favorite styles to pair with neutral interiors and works especially well in rooms with lots of white. Here, Coralie has used tile stickers, but Hamra is also available in floor panels, wallpaper, and stair risers.
